Our Story

Asianista was born from a love of Asian cuisine, but we were always drawn back to one hometown: Vietnam.

​

Growing up, food was never just food. It was slow-simmered broths at sunrise, fresh herbs picked each morning, and recipes that nurtured us ever since, and have been passed through generations, surviving years of wars and family separations all over the world.

When we moved to the UK, we realised something was missing, not just the food, but true Vietnamese flavours: delicate yet bold, fresh yet comforting. However, it's never easy to cook such time-consuming and complicated recipes daily. Hence, to satisfy our yearnings for the genuine home flavours and proudly introduce them to your country, we are bringing the Vietnamese cuisine to the Darlington, UK, with all of our love for it.
